New lead alerts are sent straight to your phone. When a lead comes in you get an instant text with the customer's details, so you can act on it quickly — no need to check your email.
Changelog
Every update, improvement, and fix for Tradsiee.
August 24, 2026v2.1.2
For security, changing your password now signs you out and asks you to sign in again with your new password. It keeps your account protected.
Leads that are still processing are hidden until their video is ready, so your pipeline only shows the leads you can actually view and act on.
August 22, 2026v2.1.1
Applied backend security and reliability patches across the sign-up, login, and password-reset flows. Account-creation checks were hardened and request handling was made more robust.
Resolved an issue where accounts were not being created and confirmation emails were not being sent after sign-up. Brand-new email addresses could also be incorrectly reported as already registered. Sign-up now creates the account and sends the confirmation email as expected.
Resolved an issue where password-reset requests could report a failure even though the reset email had been sent. The request now completes correctly and no longer returns a false error.
The "Confirm Your Email" screen now shows the email address used at sign-up, includes a Resend email button, and provides an option to restart sign-up if the wrong email was entered.
August 16, 2026v2.1.0
We now record the moment you first open or act on a lead, so we can measure how quickly tradespeople respond to enquiries. This powers our Tradie Lead Response Benchmark with real platform data instead of survey estimates.
Every lead now records where it came from — the referring website and any campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, and campaign). This helps us understand which channels genuinely deliver work for tradespeople.
You can now set your trade when you sign up or from Settings. It helps us build accurate, per-trade benchmarks.
The privacy policy now covers the new data we collect: lead source, response-time timestamps, and optional trade type. No new third parties were added.
August 2026v2.0.0
Following the August refresh, we rebuilt it properly. The landing page is now built around one message: see the job before you drive out. A real product screenshot in an iPhone frame, a story-driven how-it-works section, benefit-led features, a value-anchored pricing card with the beta promise, and a buttery FAQ. Mobile-first, no filler, and every claim is something we can back.
Lead descriptions now expand with a tap instead of being cut off, and the description spans the full card width. The pipeline view is consistently named Pipeline, and the Settings page has a proper heading. Status and time sit neatly under each lead's description on desktop.
Four new guides: Tradie Industry Statistics, Australia's Tradie Shortage, How Australians Find Tradies, and Airtasker for Tradies. Every guide on the hub now uses a consistent component system, and every page links to two related guides.
Fixed outdated platform pricing (ServiceSeeking, Airtasker fees), corrected misattributed research citations, and aligned every statistic with its source. The benchmark page now links each figure to its original public source.
The footer tagline is now See the job before you drive out across the whole site, matching the front page.
The help guide now matches the portal exactly: the Locked status, tap-to-expand descriptions, correct button names and the mobile bottom navigation. The privacy policy and terms were updated to cover the beta pricing promise, the free website offer, lead quotas, and the exact data we process. Every link on the site was checked.
August 14, 2026v1.9.0
We built the Tradie Hub: 17 practical guides for Australian tradies who want more leads and more jobs. How to get more work by trade (plumber, electrician, builder, landscaper, painter, roofer), the real cost of leads by channel, hipages and Oneflare comparisons, a lead cost calculator, and our Tradie Lead Response Benchmark. All free, all written with real numbers and cited sources.
No website? Tomas will build your trade business a simple one, hosting included, for free while you're an active Tradsiee user. Stop using Tradsiee and the hosting stops. Limited spots during beta. Call +61 401 668 506 to claim.
The site now reports to Google Analytics 4 (traffic, conversions, and AI-assistant visits from ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude), fires sign-up and lead events automatically, and tracks visits from AI crawlers so we can see exactly how machines find us.
Cleaner page structure, corrected search-engine metadata, explicit indexing rules, and a faster sitemap. AI crawlers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Bing and friends) are now welcomed properly so our guides can be cited as sources.
The privacy policy now clearly explains how Google Analytics works, what data it collects, and how to opt out, in plain language, under Australian law.
August 9, 2026v1.8.0
When you log in for the first time, you'll be asked to pick between light and dark mode, then a quick guided tour shows you around: where your leads land, how to search and filter, and where to find help. It only ever shows once, and existing customers won't see it at all.
Logging in could fail with a confusing error even when your password was correct, usually for accounts created before the July update or after resetting a password. New accounts now repair themselves automatically, and password resets work properly again.
Reliability improvements so the dashboard loads cleanly after you sign in, on every device.
July 27, 2026v1.7.2
When signing up, the account profile was not being saved properly to the database. The auth user was created and the verification email was sent, but the profile row was silently dropped, so logging in always failed with "Invalid credentials". New sign-ups now complete correctly. If you tried to create an account and couldn't log in, please sign up again.
July 17, 2026v1.7.1
Now uses the same tough password rules no matter where you change your password: signup, settings, or password reset. All accounts are better shielded against common attacks behind the scenes.
Locked in exact versions of all supporting packages so every server runs identically. Zero surprises during updates.
July 11, 2026v1.7.0
General security hardening across the application. Multiple vulnerabilities identified during an internal audit have been addressed. No customer data was affected.
You can now report unwanted or spam leads directly from your pipeline. Each report gets a unique reference number for follow-up. You can also block the customer's phone number so all their future leads are hidden. Reports are reviewed by the Tradsiee team.
Fresh look with clearer messaging and a better layout on mobile.
Better tools for managing your account, including the ability to change your phone number.
The Add to Calendar feature has been temporarily removed while we work on a better version. Existing links to it from the help page have been updated.
July 8, 2026v1.6.2
The embedded widget was showing a big empty gap at the bottom on some websites. Fixed so it fits perfectly no matter where you put it.
July 6, 2026v1.6.1
Removed the floating wobble animation on step, feature, and comparison cards so the page feels more subtle and professional.
The announcement bar and pricing section now mention that beta users will get a discount when paid plans launch.
June 29, 2026v1.6
Every lead now has an Add to Calendar icon button that generates an .ics file with the customer's name, phone number, job description, and video link. On Apple devices it opens Calendar.app directly; on Android it opens Google Calendar; on desktop it downloads a calendar file you can open in any app.
Select multiple leads and click the calendar icon in the bulk actions bar to generate a single .ics file with all selected leads: great for planning your day or week.
Every lead card now has a coloured left edge: blue for New, orange for Quoted, grey for Archived: with a matching subtle tint across the card. The layout uses a rigid grid so names, descriptions, status badges, and actions are always aligned. Buttons are cleaner with rounded corners and are no longer uppercase.
The floating bulk bar now shows a count with a status breakdown (e.g. "3 selected: 2 New, 1 Quoted"), a Select all button, and buttons to move leads or add them to your calendar. It slides up from the bottom of the screen and stays centred on all screen sizes.
The help page was updated to explain single and batch calendar integration. All references to lead cards and statuses reflect the new design.
June 28, 2026v1.5
The embedded widget detects whether your site uses light or dark mode and blends right in: no configuration or code changes needed. Standalone widget pages also respect the visitor's system preference.
If you use Google Analytics or similar tools on your website, the widget now fires events at each step of the lead funnel: when a customer submits their details, verifies their phone, or completes a lead. Read more on the help page →
The help page has been rebuilt with a cleaner layout, dark mode support, improved navigation, and better visual hierarchy: making it easier to find what you need. Visit the help guide →
Added this page so you can see what's changed in each release. Find the link in the footer.
The footer has been rebuilt with a sleek, modern three-column layout featuring the Tradsiee brand, quick links, and direct contact information: including email and phone. Consistent across the landing page, privacy, terms, help, and changelog pages.
June 27, 2026v1.4
Fixed an issue where the server health endpoint could be caught by the widget slug router, causing the site to appear briefly unavailable when it wasn't.
June 21, 2026v1.3
Better fonts, sizing, spacing, and responsive name fields that adapt to any container width. Helper text and field labels are clearer. The widget now shows a subtle "Powered by Tradsiee" footer so your customers know they're using a trusted platform.
Clicking the share button now opens your phone's native share menu instead of just copying the link. Lead detail cards in your pipeline also gained a share video button.
June 19, 2026v1.2
What used to be called "Working" is now "Quoted". This better reflects the real workflow: once you've reviewed a lead, you send a quote. Updated across the pipeline, the help guide, and the landing page.
Fresh OG images across all pages for better-looking link previews when sharing Tradsiee on social media, messaging apps, and search results.
June 18, 2026v1.1
Widget pages moved from tradsiee.com/widget/your-business to tradsiee.com/your-business. Old widget links automatically redirect to the new URLs so nothing breaks.
Adjusted video processing settings for crisper video at slightly lower frame rates. Your customer videos will look better and load faster.
Updated the meta description on the home page so search results show a clearer snapshot of what Tradsiee does.
June 15, 2026v1.0
Tradsiee is live. Video lead generation for tradespeople. Here's everything it launched with:
- Video lead widget: Embeddable widget that lets your customers record a video describing the job and submit it directly from your website. Works on any device: phone, tablet, or desktop. No app download needed.
- Pipeline dashboard: Every lead lands in your pipeline with their name, phone number, job description, and video. Watch the video, review the details, then move the lead through your workflow.
- Lead management: Three statuses (New → Working → Archived) to track where you are with every customer. Move leads forward, backward, or archive them. Multi-select to batch update.
- Search and filter: Filter by status tab (All / New / Quoted / Archived) or search by customer name, phone, or job description. Sort by newest or oldest.
- Phone and SMS actions: Every lead card has one-tap buttons to call or message the customer through your phone's default apps.
- Video processing: Customer videos are automatically optimised and hosted on Cloudinary. Click the thumbnail to watch in a new tab. Fast loading on any connection.
- Widget link and QR code: If you don't have a website, share your Tradsiee link directly. Includes a QR code you can print on your van, flyers, or business cards.
- Account settings: Update your business name, public slug, email, and password. Dark mode toggle. Account termination with SMS verification.
- Email authentication and verification: Sign up with your email, verify your account, and reset your password if you forget it. SMS verification for sensitive account changes.
- Privacy and terms: Full privacy policy and terms of service. Your data stays yours. We never sell your data.
